JOB DESCRIPTION

SUMMARY: The Bar Supervisor is responsible for the day to day bar operations to ensure the highest standards of beverage service are provided to customers.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must have a minimum of a High School Diploma or GED, or provide a copy of highest certificate or degree received required.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must have a minimum of one (1) year of supervisor experience in a related field, OR have worked a minimum of three (3) years in a casino environment and be knowledgeable of the casino’s employee policy and procedures and how it is appropriately applies, required.
• Must have one (1) year experience working in a casino, bar or lounge environment or related field
• Must have a working knowledge of names and contents of mixed drinks.
• Must be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and write effectively.
• Must be able to demonstrate strong organizational, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
• Must receive a passing math test score.
• Must be able to work rotating shifts, which includes, holidays and/or weekends, and period of short staff.
• Must be able to lift, carry or push 50+ lbs.
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment, and at times, highly stressful environment containing excessive smoke and noise.
• Must be able to obtain a gaming license as a condition of employment.
• Must receive a negative alcohol/drug test result as a condition of employment.
